Install PlanSwift®
Download the installer
Download PlanSwift from the download page, or from MyAccount to match your licensed version. Save the setup file somewhere you can find it, like your Downloads folder.
This will install PlanSwift 11 on your computer. It is recommended that you close all other applications before continuing. Click Next to continue.
Run the Setup Wizard
Double-click the downloaded file. If Windows asks for permission to make changes, click Yes. The PlanSwift Setup Wizard opens — click Next to begin.
Accept the License Agreement
Read the End User License Agreement, select "I accept the terms," and click Next.
Choose the install location
The default location works for almost everyone. Only change it if your IT policy requires a custom path. Click Next.
Pick the Start Menu folder
Leave the default "PlanSwift" folder name and click Next. This is just where the shortcut lives in your Start Menu.
Add a desktop icon
Leave "Create a desktop icon" checked so PlanSwift is one click away, then click Next.
Install
Review the summary and click Install. The installer copies files and sets up PlanSwift — this takes a minute or two.
PlanSwift 11 has been installed on your computer. Click Finish to launch, then log in to activate.
Finish and activate
Click Finish to launch PlanSwift, then log in with your MyAccount email and password to activate your license. You are ready to take off.
Reinstall on a new computer
Moving to a new machine? Your license travels with your account. You just need to free it up on the old computer first.
Only have one seat?
Return the license on the old computer before you activate the new one. If you have multiple seats, you can simply install and log in on the new machine.
Return your license on the old computer
If you only have one seat, sign in to MyAccount on the old machine and return (deactivate) the license. This frees the seat so the new computer can use it.
Download the installer on the new computer
On the new machine, download PlanSwift from the download page or MyAccount.
Install PlanSwift
Run the Setup Wizard exactly as you did the first time: download, Next through the wizard, Install, Finish.
Log in to reactivate
Open PlanSwift and sign in with your MyAccount credentials. Your license reactivates on the new computer automatically.
Removing PlanSwift
Uninstall PlanSwift
Removing PlanSwift uses the standard Windows uninstaller. It takes under a minute.
Open Programs and Features
Open the Windows Control Panel and click Programs and Features. (On Windows 11 you can also use Settings → Apps → Installed apps.)
Find PlanSwift in the list
Scroll to PlanSwift in the list of installed programs and click to select it.
Click Uninstall
Click Uninstall at the top of the list and confirm. Windows removes the program.
Done
PlanSwift is removed. You can reinstall any time from the download page.
